Check in was quick and easy. Nathaniel was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location close to plenty of bars, restaurants and Bourbon Street.

We asked for a blanket for the pull out couch around 10pm and within 15 minutes we received it. Apartment is spacious and beautiful. Check in process and communication was great.

It’s become our tradition to stay at Melrose Mansion when we visit New Orleans. This was our 4th stay but the first time in six years. It has maintained its status as a wonderful destination with an incredible staff. We traveled with our 4 year old and the room size was perfect. Can’t wait to be back!

The decor is absolutely 4-star. If your goal is cute social media photos, this is your place. If your goal is actual comfort and service? Look elsewhere. Service felt closer to a 2–3 star hotel. Basic amenities like robes and slippers weren’t in the room (had to request), side tables were dirty, light bulbs were burnt out, single ply toilet paper, no hand soap (or hand towel) in bathroom where second sink is, and the shower head was clogged with sulfur buildup. There was even mold in the shower. The rooftop pool is also much smaller than it appears in photos. Definitely not what’s advertised. The baggage and valet guys were super professional and welcoming, but unfortunately that service ended at the doors. Every interaction with the front desk felt like we were inconveniencing them just by asking for normal things. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a hotel. I will say there was one front desk attendant who was respectful and welcoming. Her name was Sarah. Bottom line: pretty hotel, poor execution. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone used to true 4- or 5-star service.

Free onsite, secure parking. Room was very clean. Loved the seating area. There is a water filler for filtered water. There is some construction next door but rooms have a sound machine to help with the noise AND earplugs are provided. Excellent location. Street car line right across the street. Great restaurants and bars close by. 10/10 will stay here again.
